eMobility: myth and truth

Guest lecture by Awi Lifshitz at FH Technikum Vienna

On the 22nd of November 2017, the degree programs Bachelor Traffic and Environment (BVU) and Master Integrative Urban Development - Smart City (MSC) have invited to a guest lecture with future potential. The speaker was Awi Lifshitz, Head of Sales of the Qualysoft Group, who is also responsible for eMobility projects and customers.

Under the title "eMobility: Myth and Truth", Awi Lifshitz gave deeper insights into this seminal field and was able to inspire students, lecturers and interested parties alike for the new innovation. In the course of the guest lecture, the eMobility expert cleared up in particular with widespread myths. From issues relating to environmental compatibility and the distribution and needs of e-cars and charging stations to the state of the research, Lifshitz explained the highly topical subject, both technically sound and humorous.

Apart from the exciting guest lecture, Awi Lifshitz was also won over for further cooperation. In intensive discussions with the FHTW team (Harald Wahl, Philipp Urbauer and Mathias Ballner), in addition to the already planned cooperation in the Academic Course Software Testing, further possible links in the Bachelor BVU, Master MSC and Computer Science Dual Study were identified. We are pleased that we have already taken the first steps towards sustainable cooperation.
