Peter Oros at panel discussion

Digitization of art and culture

The Club Pannonia, as a continuation in its traditional panel discussion series in cooperation with the Collegium Hungaricum Vienna, discussed the topic "Digitization of art and culture - curse or blessing?". Peter Oros, CEO of the Qualysoft Group, was part of the panel discussion.

Together with Mag. Dr. Rainald Franz, Custos for Glass and Ceramics in the Museum of Applied Art (MAK), MMMag.Lívia Mádl-Pálffy, Austrian artist of Hungarian origin and Hofrat Dr.M. Christian Ortner, director of the Museum of Military History Vienna, Peter Oros discussed on the 9th of November in Collegium Hungaricum on the digitalization of art.

Right from the start, the first question was asked whether one could speak of a "blessing" in the increasing digitization. Peter Oros explained the advantages of digitalization in the presentation of art but also in the industrial field. There are already artists who exclusively exhibit digitally created works of art. To illustrate the digitization on site, Qualysoft provided a QualysmArt screen for the duration of the panel discussion.
